If you're moving to the Permian for work, the monthly rate is usually the first number you want and the hardest one to pin down. Plenty of RV parks around Odessa and Midland don't post one. Many of the parks that do post a price don't say when they last updated it.

This guide sticks to numbers that carry a date. Below are monthly RV park rates in Odessa, TX and the towns around it, what those rates include, what moves the price, and what to ask before you sign. Our own number isn't in here. It's on our rates page if you want to compare. Housing is usually the biggest line in a move budget, and our post on the cost of living in Odessa covers the rest of it.

    What the dated numbers show

This guide started from 14 RV parks in the area around Goldsmith that take monthly stays, checked in October 2026. Only 2 of the 14 had a posted monthly rate with a date from the past year. Those 2 parks are the only source for the rates in this post, and I left both names out on purpose.

Posted rates from 2 parks checked October 2026 ran $450 to $795 a month, $150 to $300 a week, and $40 to $50 a night. Both pages were opened again on October 19, 2026, and showed the same figures.

Two parks is a thin sample. Treat these as reference points and call to confirm the number at any park you're considering.

The monthly rate matters more than people expect. At both parks, a month at the monthly rate cost far less than 30 nights at the nightly rate. Across the 2 parks, 30 nights at the nightly rate came to $1,200 to $1,500, against $450 to $795 for a month. If you know you're staying a month or longer, ask for the monthly rate on day one.

Range chart of posted rates from 2 parks checked October 2026: a month at the monthly rate ran $450 to $795, while 30 nights at the nightly rate came to $1,200 to $1,500.

Why most other posted rates aren't in this post

Most of the other parks posted a monthly figure with no date on the page, and a few said to call for monthly rates. Some of those undated numbers may still be current, since plenty of parks never date their rate pages. Still, a price with no date can be a year old, and move-in specials change often.

Our long-term RV parks guide covers what to check before you book a monthly site.

What "all bills paid" covers around here

All bills paid means the monthly number includes the utilities, so there's no separate power or water bill. Both dated rates include electric, water, and sewer, and both include Wi-Fi. Neither park's rate list names trash pickup as part of the rate.

None of the 14 parks posted a monthly RV rate with electric billed separately. Parks that don't post a rate may still meter power, so ask before you assume.

Here's the rule I use: if a park can't tell you which utilities are in the monthly number, treat power as extra until they put the list in writing. In West Texas, summer air conditioning is the cost that swings the most when power is on a meter.

    What moves the price

Both dated rates cover the same core utilities, so the spread from $450 to $795 comes from other things, like the site and the amenities. Ask what the quoted rate gets you, such as a gate, laundry on site, a larger site, or a concrete pad.

If a park offers more than one kind of site, such as a larger site or a concrete pad, ask which site the quoted rate is for.

Drive time is part of the cost

A rate only makes sense next to the drive. A park that costs less a month can cost you more in fuel and hours if it's far from your yard.

Pin the actual lease or yard you report to and time the drive at shift change. From Goldsmith, we're about 25 minutes from Odessa, about 35 from Andrews, and about 45 from Midland. Move-in specials and month two

Some parks advertise a lower rate for the first month. Specials like that help with move-in costs, but they end. Budget for the regular monthly rate from month two on, and ask how the park tells you about a rate change.

Questions to ask before you sign

    1. Which utilities are in the monthly number? Ask them to name electric, water, sewer, trash, and Wi-Fi one by one.
    2. Is electric included with no cap, or is it metered past a certain point?
    3. When was the posted rate last updated, and does it apply to the site I'm getting?
    4. What's the rate after the first month, and how will I hear about a change?
    5. Is there a deposit, and is there a minimum stay?
    6. Does my rig fit? Give your length and amperage, and ask about back-in or pull-through.
    7. Will I need my own internet? Ask whether Wi-Fi reaches the RV pads.

    Where we fit

We're Goldsmith RV Park & Housing on Highway 158 in Goldsmith, with 61 RV sites and 8 housing units. Every RV site is all bills paid, which for us means electric, water, sewer, and trash. Wi-Fi doesn't reach the RV sites yet. It's coming soon, so plan your own connection for now.

There's no minimum stay, and RV sites don't take a deposit. There's a gate at the main entrance, and every site has 20, 30, and 50 amp service. Terms after the first month depend on your agreement, and we go over that when you sign up. Our current prices are on the rates page. Housing units are call for rates.
